Have you ever had times when you were itching to paint, but you couldn’t think of anything you wanted to paint? I have wasted many hours preparing my paints, stretching paper or finding a canvas, rearranging my materials, tidying my brushes, and generally fiddling around whilst I waited for inspiration to strike.
