How to Plan Your Return to Racing

If we’ve seen anything from the spring this year, it’s clear that races are returning. Runners are waiting and race directors are busy making all manners of virtual race briefings, socially distanced check-ins and contactless aid stations. If you are like most ultrarunners, you are chomping at the bit to plunk down your credit card on UltraSignup, pin a bib on and hit the trails. But before you do so, realize that the return to racing might be a bit of a bumpy trail. Here are some things to consider as you navigate your way back to the race scene.
