HAVE been reading Bill Naylor’s excellent articles for years, and find they are well written and well researched. As a generalist, for want of a better word, I enjoy his style immensely. However, as a falconer, still active after 73 years of keeping raptors of every one of the species flown in UK falconry except eagles, with regret, I take issue with the observation that falconers acknowledge the kestrel as, May 12).
