RIVER WARRIOR: ANNE STEVENS

Anne Steven’s kayaking style could be described as cautious with an attention to detail and a healthy dose of respect for rivers. Rather than holding her back, this caution lets her experience the river at a slower pace, offering her a different perspective than some paddlers. “I get super stoked on the little things, like catching eddies, hitting boofs,” she says. “I just really enjoy boating and the feeling of being at the bottom of a rapid and being super proud and super stoked.”
