“I PURCHASED my XC sight-unseen from Sydney in 2015 and got it shipped to Melbourne where I gutted the inside of it and put it back to original. With the help of my dad, I spent a week sanding the car back, bogging it up (shhh!), doing the primer and painting it the XA Wild Plum colour. I purchased Challenger rims for it, which cost me more than the rest of the car! It’s running a 351 Cleveland engine with auto transmission and nine-inch diff. I’m hoping to one day finish the job so I can enjoy this Aussie classic.”
