Located on the southern shore of , crater may be only 46km in diameter but it has presence due to a crater of similar size but completely different appearance. Where Billy’s floor has been completely smoothed over by lava, Hansteen’s remains faithful to the original impact and appears rough, covered in a series of concentric rings infilled with hills.
