From the first step to the first tooth, splashing in puddles and playing in sandpits, nap times, nursery rhymes and the Christmas school play, Frankie Bridge has cherished each of her children’s milestones. But the TV presenter, author and The Saturdays star, who has sons Parker, seven, and Carter, six, with her husband, former England footballer Wayne, also understands only too well about the doubts, insecurities and anxieties that come with being a mother to young children. “Motherhood is sold to us as perfect, the best moment of your life, and that’s not always the case,” says Frankie, 32, at ’s exclusive shoot and interview. “I want to recounts her own experiences of dealing with pregnancy and the early years from a mental health perspective, covering areas such as imposter syndrome, guilt, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety and body image, along with expert comment from psychologist Maleha Khan and paediatrician Dr Ed Abrahamson.
