Shorty stars Kura & Brynley ‘WE’RE COMEDY SOULMATES!’

They’re the stand-up comediennes and long-time besties bringing some much-needed comic relief to drama-plagued Ferndale and, as you’d expect, Kura Forrester and Brynley Stent’s first day together on the Shortland Street set was a barrel of laughs.

“I showed her where the toilets were,” says Kura deadpan.

Giggling at the memory, Brynley elaborates, “Yeah, she gave me a tour on my first day and pretended I was a fan who’d won a competition while she introduced me to everyone. Thanks for that!”
