How do I apply for the renewable heat incentive?

The renewable heat incentive (RHI) is a scheme designed to cover the increased expense of putting in a renewable heat technology rather than a non-renewable option like an oil or gas boiler or direct electric heating. It does this by offering the homeowner an incentive payment, spread over the course of seven years.
