I have been reading about the Cold War, a long war fought for control of the world. Interestingly our latest dramas – a combination of forest fires and the Taliban – owe their birth to that Cold War. A war that grew out of the need to defeat Hazism, with two regimes totally opposed to each other coming together to destroy the German war machine.
