Note: Carol used the same fabric for the binding as she did for the sashing and Border 1, meaning she used a total of 1.05m (1⅛yd); they are listed separately so you can bind the quilt in another fabric if you wish. The appliqué method used is needleturn with freezer paper, but you can adapt the instructions to your preferred technique.
