Opening the matching black Epiphone cases, both adorned with Slash’s skull logo, we’re greeted by two cheerful instruments. From the nut down, both look pretty much identical to the Gibson Slash Core Collection guitars that we reviewed when they first hit the UK early in 2020. The headstocks do give the game away but the redesigned Epiphone Kalamazoo headstock does lend an air of gravitas and elegance to the brand’s latest models, which the previous version never
