Summer times

Staged at Santa Pod Raceway in mid-July, the STP Summer Nationals promised a lot and delivered even more. Even the weather played ball, with ‘Podface’ everywhere come the Sunday.

Headed up by the Motorsport UK Pro Modified Championship, the baker’s dozen of car race classes was supported by 10 two-wheeled classes, but we won’t show them here. Down time was minimal, track time was plentiful and, following the Friday test and tune day, race teams took advantage of two full days of action to do what they know best.
