I RECENTLY BOUGHT A SMALL gift book for my It is a small, rectangular book in the shape of an envelope. Inside are empty letter templates that have different titles instructing the reader what each letter is about and when it should be opened: “Open when you are looking for inspiration.” “Open when you need courage.” “Open when you need a laugh” This summer I am going to have my family and Jack’s friends fill out the letters. When he feels alone at school, he can open a letter and find the encouraging words of those who love him most. In this season, I want Jack surrounded by hope and peace.
