VIKING 64

On the heels of the award-winning 54 Convertible, Viking Yacht Company will unveil the second-generation 64 Convertible at the 2021 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in late October. This four-stateroom, three-head battlewagon is poised to become another best-in-class superstar on the tournament circuit, thanks in part to an optimized hull surface designed for speed and fuel efficiency. Viking offers a variety of power options, and while the MAN 1,550 hp engines are standard, Hull No. 1 will be powered by a pair of MTU 12V2000 M96X engines rated at 2,000 hp each. The 64 will be available as an enclosed-bridge model as well.

VILANO 65

With Hull No. 1’s construction well underway, St. Augustine, Florida, builder Vilano Boatworks has started fabrication on Hull. This custom cold-molded hull will feature a three-stateroom, three-head layout and will be powered by the new 1,925 hp Caterpillar C32 engines. The impressive optional equipment includes gyrostabilizers, omnidirectional sonar and a full electronics suite—the build has become a true collaboration with the Vilano team, its in-house naval architect and the boat’s owner. This is the 10th edition of the Lor-A-Di program. Delivery date is scheduled for late spring 2023.
