How BIG should it be? RUG, CHANDELIER, MANTEL, ISLAND

NOTHING TOO SMALL, OR TOO BIG

WHAT ABOUT THE SOFA?

Length is often the most critical dimension, and you can gauge that with a tape measure. It shouldn’t take up a whole wall. But too small and the room may look choppy. Consider depth and height in overall volume.
