King Herod Agvippa 1

Herod who?

Herod Agrippa I is the fifth of six Herods mentioned in the New Testament. He ruled over parts of Palestine beginning in AD 37, later becoming king over Judaea (which included Jerusalem, the heart of Israel) in AD 41.

Herod’s zeal for Judaism came at a price for Jesus’ followers.

Agrippa was an Edomite convert to Judaism.
