The Bearded Charmer
Even by today’s standards Tony would be seen as severely overweight. In the pre-junk food era of the early 1980s, he was positively huge. Add a rather casual approach to personal hygiene and there was every reason for Tony to have been something of an outcast. Yet I can’t think of anyone who disliked him.
