Settling down on the sofa, I turned on my phone ready to watch a livestream of my husband, Jay, carrying out a paranormal investigation at a spooky derelict children’s home.

I’m a paranormal investigator too. Together, Jay and I run our own ghost hunting group B.R.P Britain’s Real-Life Paranormal.

But as we have two young sons, Christian, who’s four, and three-year-old Ethan, I often stay at home looking after them while Jay is out investigating.

Although I’d have absolutely loved to be on that evening’s investigation with Jay, watching it live on Facebook was the next best thing.
