Success on the Stafford show bench for budgies, colour canaries and Yorkies

THE 2021 National Exhibition on October 3 was a success following a break in 2020 due to Covid. A number of clubs held their shows at this event.

Budgerigar section (sponsored by South Cheshire BS and Just Supplements) – It was good to be holding a National show again, but with all the doubts about Covid I had to make the decision to restrict entries to eight cages per person, reports section organiser John Cosby. This did mean that this section had a lower number of birds entered, but led to a much more relaxed feeling on the day.

Some super birds were entered with a stunning skyblue cock from Alan & Gina Adams winning best in show on a split decision from a wonderful greygreen
