Future looking bright for Philippines football

It has been an encouraging year for football in the Philippines. The women’s team qualified for the 2022 Asian Cup in late September, the men, who did reasonably well in World Cup qualification, are also looking good for their continental tournament, and clubs have been performing in the AFC Champions League for the first time.
