Next to each free campsite, you will see three words. These are the ‘three-word address’ created by what3words when they divided the whole world into 3m x 3m squares. While they may not make much sense to the average person, when inserted into the what3words app, the map will show you the location and how to get there. Even with no mobile phone signal, you can still view the location, but you will need a signal to share the location over the phone or via text, such as when in an emergency.
