PERMISSION DENIED

The ADB Big Bore Classic had people frothing from the day it was announced. Riders went into a frenzy at the thought of racing big-bore bikes and set about repairing old machines, buying new ones or, like Steve Powell, building one just the way they wanted. While the event never happened due to our old mate COVID-19, this big-bore project came out a winner. Powell explains:

I wanted to build a bike to race at the Big Bore Classic in the two-stroke class. I was looking at a Husqvarna WR360 or KTM360. Plenty of people have done CR500 or KX500 builds but I wanted something different and perhaps a little more modern-looking. I wasn’t model specific when looking but I wanted a bike that would also qualify for the vintage motocross scene
