Amanyara in the Turks and Caicos has unveiled a complete refurbishment of its 38 pavilions, set on the shores of a 7,200-hectare nature reserve on the island of Providenciales. The private timber-shingled villas now have custom-made beds draped in soft linens, and Aman has upgraded the bathrooms to include deep soaking bathtubs.
Perched above the waterline, the Amanyara Pavilion has unbroken ocean views, a private T-shaped pool and an alfresco yoga sala. The Pool Pavilion Villas, meanwhile, feature a private lap pool, an expansive outdoor terrace, walled gardens, a fully-equipped personal gym, and a spacious living and dining area.
When creating the new look, Aman collaborated with global design firm Olson Kundig to maintain architect Jean Michel Gathy’s original minimalistic design. The goal was to keep the focus on the integration of indoor and outdoor
