“I had thick, silky hair till I was 18 years old, and then it started to thin at the top. I made countless visits to the doctors, but it was all in vain. So, I spent more than a decade coming to terms with the fact that I had thin hair, and that, under some light, you could see my scalp, too. I only came to terms with it in my late 30s. The other part of my hair story is dealing with greys. I’ve had grey streaks since I was 12. I have, for most of my life, been happy with grey hair because I convinced myself that it was ‘interesting’. But as I hit 37, there was an ‘Oh my God, is it making me look old?’ moment.
