Cramming, cliques, credits — the daunting transition from elementary school to high school implicates a significant increase in responsibilities for most students. While high school can mark a gratifying milestone for many, it is undeniable that the widened set of challenges it presents can significantly increase stress.

Many high schoolers report facing heightened levels of stress — a phenomenon that has been chalked up to a variety of factors, some of which extend beyond the school classroom.
