All the fun of the (book) fair
October, for us agents and publishers is less the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness than of the Frankfurt Book Fair and the hope that comes with it. As the leaves start to turn golden, our minds turn to auctions, dreams of glittering successes and that great prize of having the ‘book of the fair’.
