The community quarantine restrictions didn’t affect him as much socially, he says, because he was used to living by himself, but being by himself also gave way to his a-ha moment. “It’s been a lot,” he says. “The pandemic kind of made me think about a lot of things. My dad was living here in Manila. I was working and supporting him for a long time but then I just realized that he’s getting older and I don’t want him to live in Manila anymore. I want him to live by the beach, be able to relax and kind of like spend time just enjoying himself. I
