IN an unusual result, the Dodson & Horrell 1.10m amateur title was shared by two on-form riders as Katie Shaw and Emily Morris dead-heated in a thrilling 14-strong jump-off.

Katie used handbrake turns on the home-bred 20-year-old Fools Business, by It’s The Business, wiping almost seven seconds from the leading time.

“He was amazing – after winning the 1.15m final I didn’t expect it, but he knows where he’s going, it only takes a slight body movement and he turns lightning sharp. He hasn’t aged at all and is still a lunatic at home, spooking at everything,”
