his month’s reader on location is of Baltimore, who writes to us from when I flew to India to see the Taj Mahal and when I went to Australia to see the Sydney Opera House. I remembered to bring a copy to Spain, but then I forgot to take it out for La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, and the top of Gibraltar with Morocco in the background. But the core reason I came to Spain is the building in the background of this picture, the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum by Frank Gehry—and I finally remembered to take my magazine to the roof of my hotel across the street at dawn.”
