Pick Me Up!

Good things come IN THREES!

Chatting with my husband Jack, 30, it was clear that he wanted children.

‘I’m just really not sure I want any,’ I told him I was more reluctant.

‘I’d love a little girl,’ Jack replied. ‘But they can’t be an only child, like I was.

‘I was always desperate for a sibling to play with growing up.’

It was 2018 and I’d been with Jack for eight years.

Even though we had just got married, I still wasn’t sure I wanted kids at all.

But two-and-a-half years later on 2 August 2020, I found out I was pregnant and I was genuinely over the moon.

‘A little girl would be nice,’ I squealed to Jack.

‘I can’t believe this is actually happening!’ he cried.

‘Hopefully it’s one of many.’
