Santa paws…

While we’re tucking into our roast turkey this Christmas, there will be around 5,000 animals in shelters in need of love and affection.

But up and down the country, paw-some RSPCA volunteers will be giving up present opening and Buck’s Fizz drinking to take care of the neediest animals this festive season, giving up their Christmas Day and family time to ensure that all of their needs are met.

The 7,000-strong network of dedicated volunteers help to walk dogs, cuddle cats, clean out enclosures, maintain the centres and bring love and joy to abandoned pets.
