We’re not going to lie – when local journo and fan favourite Siyanda (Kay Sibiya) passed away from an apparent suicide at the beginning of November, we were shocked. But the ink on his final story prior to his death has barely dried and there’s already a new hardcore reporter in town hoping to fill his journalistic shoes. Introduced on Thursday, 25 November, Lelethu – portrayed by actor Yonda Thomas from Netflix’s hugely successful 2020 comedy series How To Ruin Christmas: The Wedding – makes it clear that the newcomer isn’t afraid to stir the pot like his predecessor.
