Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We have all heard this long-accepted nutritional advice, and it lives in our psyche. Except did you know it isn’t the most important meal of the day, and it isn’t nutritional advice? It was a marketing line invented in the 19th century by Seventh Day Adventist John Harvey Kellogg. Yes, as in Kellogg’s Cornflakes. Having rolled and baked some stale maize, he invented Cornflakes and unwittingly the multi-million-pound breakfast cereal industry. Studies have since shown breakfast has no more beneficial value
