Let’s explore how to build and simulate an exterior archviz scene located in the rocky red mountains of the desert.

My ‘Calm Wilderness’ render features a modern villa that is covered with black stone, white cement and wood. The way to reach this villa is through the mountains in a safari car, which may not be hugely noticeable in the scene, but is an important element added to enhance the narrative.

I decided to make the best use of Quixel Megascans assets in this scene to simulate a beautiful and real environment by combining these rocks and boulders.
