MILIEU presents at DISCOVER ADAC

t was a monumental 60th anniversary milestone for the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center (ADAC). national media sponsorship during the DISCOVER ADAC Fall Market with a lively discussion in the Jim Thompson Showroom. The event, entitled “Designing Friends with Meredith McBrearty and Jeremy Corkern,” was led by Design Director, Leslie Newsom Rascoe, who spoke with the multi-faceted interior designer Meredith McBrearty and the acclaimed architect Jeremy Corkern.” McBrearty and Corkern, both of whom appeared in our Fall 2021 issue, shared with audience members details about their work featured in and about projects they are currently working on together. Their photographs revealed the true process of a design project—a complicated one, certainly, but also always an inspiring endeavor. As longtime personal friends and seasoned professional colleagues, they spoke candidly about the ways they work together (in harmony) and offered strategies for other architect-design teams to ensure that a collaboration is not only successful but also fun.
