Our Brainwaves page is one of our most popular, and definitely one of our most enduring sections in the mag. When I first started with it was calledmagazine, wrote back in September about keeping a mask in an empty mints tin, so it’s easy to carry around and harder to lose. Susan McLochlan, from Caboolture South in Queensland, wrote in to share her tip for avoiding the mask smell that comes with some of the popular disposable masks. , she wrote. Great idea! And if eucalyptus isn’t your thing, I bet you could use a drop of a favourite essential oil, such as lavender. Another Queensland reader, Rachel Morgan, sent in a tip that I loved because I’ve often been caught at the supermarket trying to open up one of those plastic produce bags without resorting to licking my fingers. It’s not easy! Rachel’s suggestion is to pick up one of the antibacterial wipes you find at the front of the store, and drape it over your trolley handle. wrote Rachel.
