RIEJU RATED
I read the test on the Rieju MR300 Racing by Ben Grabham (ADB #498) and was stoked to see it rate well. Most of us know “Una cerveza por favor” but few (including myself) have ridden, or know much about, Spanish bikes.
The fact former GasGas models are hitting Australian shores at Riejus, along with bikes from the reborn GASGAS brand (under KTM ownership), is good news for riders, even those who are staunchly loyal to bigger brands like Yamaha, Honda and Husqvarna, because more options and greater supply means downward price pressure. And there’s been way too much upward pressure on prices over the last 18 months. I’d given up trying to upgrade my 2017 Husky FE450 for a low-hour, second-hand 2020+ model – there was no point.
After riding a mate’s 2020 Husky TE300 and badly wanting one for technical tracks (but not the desert), it got me thinking.
