Christmas was just over two weeks, away and Shanna Riddle Vandewege couldn’t wait to share the magical time with her husband and their baby boy.

Shanna, 36, didn’t need any presents that year – finally being a mum was better than any gift under the tree.

Ever since Shanna was a teenager, she had dreamed about starting a family one day. She’d even chosen baby names years before she’d even started dating her husband, Craig, 35, who she met at a local church.
