HEADS UP

Sitting at my laptop, typing away, my head was pounding. It was March 2020, and I put the pain down to having to work on a screen at home all the time,

since lockdown had begun.

Being at home with my husband, Jamie, 37, and our two girls Darcey, six, and Esme, two-and-a-half, was great.

But Jamie and I were both PE teachers, so sitting down all day, staring at screens, was a complete change for us.

We were used to being outside all the time, running around with our students.

Then in my spare time, I was part of a local netball club and I’d go for a 5km run a couple of times a week.

Jamie and I bonded over our love for an active and healthy lifestyle when we met uni.

Only, in the months leading up to lockdown, I constantly felt drained because I kept getting headaches.
