‘I want to create a fairy tale that takes everyone back to childhood’
Thomes, and this is especially true at Christmas. In the beautiful woods of Normandy, on a hilly outcrop jutting into the River Seine, stands an enchanted manor house, home of the Piard family.
With its steep roofs and colourful animal decorations frolicking over the facade, it combines Anglo-Norman style architecture with art nouveau charm. Built in the 19th century, it has welcomed artists Modigliani and Monet – today it is synonymous with the art of gracious living.
