Seven shows and a solid foundation

FINALLY, the show season began – but now how soon it has finished.

Well, it’s been a year or more since the show cages were dusted down and the reality of attending a show was actually feasible. What we have all come through has been a remarkable time in our lives and I’m thankful that a sense of normality is returning. Perhaps living with Covid is the new normal and with the added bird-flu issues we now seem to get each year, the resilience that our hobby is showing is remarkable.

At the time of writing this, the first shows had come and gone, the first being the North Staffs and South Cheshire (NSSC) FFCC open show held at the National Exhibition. That was the first Fife Canary Council show of the year
