ISLA MANSELL’S former racehorse Crisp Note, from the family of leading event sire Miners Lamp (sire of Britain’s Olympic medallist Miners Frolic, among others), won the bronze section of both elementaries. It’s a familiar venue for the 19-year-old mare, who has competed with great success there over the years at the annual Retraining of Racehorses Championships.
