THE FIRST BSA VICTOR SOLD WELL in the USA and Canada when it launched in 1966, where a stinky two-stroke Japanese, Spanish, or Swedish middleweight wasn’t considered as robust as a mighty British four-stroke single – especially if you wanted something to power up mountains or trek across vast deserts, probably with a spare fuel can strapped on somewhere.
