BE A GUARD

If you’ve spent any amount of time in Skyrimyou’re familiar with the various guards patrolling its cities and towns. Typically rude, aloof, with ears finely tuned for the sound of a pick scraping a lock or an apple being liberated from a tavern table, the guards of Skyrim are all too happy to spit a passing insult your way or boast that they too could be an adventurer if not for a dubious arrow-related knee injury. Guards are jerks, in other words, ready to call in an entire barracks-worth of backup over a five-dollar bounty or tease you about a missing sweet roll.
