Clear as day after dark

“Grey partridges are pairing up, so we must give them the best chance of success”

The grey partridges I released last year have held well. Through the season they’ve formed three distinct coveys and their calling at dusk and dawn has been a real joy. Now they are pairing up and it’s time to make sure that they have the best possible chances of breeding success. Their nesting habitat looks good. We’ll feed through springtime. And I’m about to dust off the ladder and Larsen traps. The priority is nocturnal predator control, so I took delivery of some test equipment from Thomas Jacks to see whether any new gear might increase my chances.
