Canaries Month by Month: FEBRUARY

ATE February already! Recently, I have been converting my main wall, consisting of 40 cages, into cages which can take floor grilles, so that the regular cage-cleaning process is made easier. Hard work, and it mean the birds were shuffled elsewhere in the birdroom while I dismantled the existing block of cages and rebuilt the interiors. All were made from uPVC and equipped with stainless- steel grilles. The job was a labour of love. Having perfected my design previously when I’d made 24 cages with grilles for my mosaic canaries, the new Yorkie cages couldn’t come soon
