Mmm, something smells good!’ Dad sang out, hanging up his boots at the front door.
He worked long hours on our dairy farm, milking and feeding the cows. Mum, a wonderful cook, made her famous sausage rolls and used tomatoes from Dad’s vegie patch for the sauce.
They were warm and ready at the table, along with a big cuddle from Mum, and her infectious smile.
