Whatever it is, Mackay’s Insane Performance Sugar City Powerfest was a laid-back, fun-filled three days with plenty of impressive metal to feast on.

Skidders and drag racers alike descended on the sugarcane capital of Australia to battle at Palmyra Dragway for a prize pool of over $25,000. They’ve been running cars here since way back in 1968 – no doubt playing
