etween 33-50 per cent of all food produced globally is never eaten (). Let that sink in for a moment. That’s up to half of all food, wasted. The value of this surplus food is worth more than $1 trillion USD, as well as countless squandered resources, including water, land, fertiliser and fuel for transportation (and animal lives, within the meat, egg and dairy industries).
